Located at: 220 Crystall Road, Havelock North.
Our on-site services include:
Reproduction & Breeding Services
At our purpose-built equine facility, we are proud to offer professional breeding services to support local breeders and horse owners. Whether you’re planning your first mating or managing a performance broodmare, our experienced team provides personalised care every step of the way.
Our services include reproductive examinations, cycle tracking, artificial insemination (fresh, chilled, and frozen semen), pregnancy scanning, and ongoing reproductive management — all delivered in a calm, purpose-designed environment focused on safety and success.
Gastroscopy
Our purpose-built equine facility provides gastroscopy services for accurate diagnosis and management of gastric ulcers. These ulcers are common in horses of all ages, especially those in performance work, and can often be difficult to detect without direct assessment.
Using gastroscopy — the gold standard for evaluating equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS) — our veterinary team can visualise the stomach lining and tailor treatment plans to support your horse’s digestive health, wellbeing, and performance
Dentistry
Modern techniques, specialised equipment, and experienced equine veterinarians come together at our purpose-built equine facility to provide advanced dental care.
Over the past decade, developments in equine dental science have transformed how dental disease is detected and managed. Our veterinarians have completed advanced training in equine dentistry, allowing us to offer a complete, full-service dental programme — from routine examinations and floating to more complex interventions — designed to support your horse’s comfort, performance, and long-term oral health.
Hock Injections
We utilise targeted intra-articular hock injections as part of our approach to managing joint disease and maintaining comfort and performance in horses. This treatment delivers medication directly into the joint, helping to reduce inflammation, improve mobility, and support long-term joint health.
Combined with a thorough clinical assessment, this allows us to tailor treatment plans to each individual horse and make informed decisions around ongoing management and performance support.
Sleip Ai Gait Analysis
We utilise SLEIP, a smartphone-based gait analysis app that uses artificial intelligence and video data to objectively assess equine gait symmetry during trot. This technology supports more precise lameness evaluations by providing measurable, repeatable data to complement clinical expertise.
By combining advanced AI analysis with experienced veterinary assessment, we’re able to make more informed diagnostic decisions, monitor progress over time, and tailor treatment plans with greater confidence
Diagnostic Imagery
X-Ray, foot balance radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy help us to diagnose injuries and illness accurately.
